GREENCOLUMN BLACK MAPLE
Description
This cultivar of the native Black Maple has an upright, narrow growth pattern. It is drought and heat tolerant once established, but avoid growing in compact soils. Large, green leaves turn golden-yellow to orange in the fall. This is a good choice for a street or lawn tree where space is limited and shade is needed. Also serves as a butterfly larval food source.
