HENRYS GARNET SWEETSPIRE
Description
Henry’s Garnet is a cultivar of the native Virginia Sweetspire. Glossy deep green leaves turn bright scarlet-red in the fall, and keep their color for a long time. Cascading spikes of white, fragrant flowers bloom in the summer. This adaptable shrub can tolerate sunny and shady conditions, clay soils and wet sites once established. It’s a great shrub to use as a specimen, low border, or as a foundation plant.
