MARMO FREEMAN MAPLE
Description
Marmo is an attractive and fast-growing Freeman Maple cultivar that develops an oval to vase-shaped crown when mature. It was developed at the Morton Arboretum, so it is well adapted to the local climate. Deep green leaves have silvery undersides, and turn red to yellow in the fall. This tree is a male cultivar, so it will not produce seeds. It can tolerate drought, clay, and wet soils once established. This is an introduction from Chicagoland Grows.
