PAPERBARK MAPLE
Description
Paperbark Maple is a very attractive small tree. Compound leaves turn shades of red and orange in the fall. It is one of the last maples to develop fall color and may hold its leaves into winter. Highly ornamental bark is cinnamon to reddish-brown and is exfoliating. This tree is adaptable to both acidic and alkaline soils, but it not drought tolerant. A great tree for small yards, it does well under the shade of larger trees.
