PRINCE CHARMING BUTTERFLY BUSH
Description
When other flowers are beginning to fade, the vivid raspberry-pink blooms of Prince Charming come alive in the late summer landscape. Ten-inch long, honey-scented panicles will delight butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds in your yard. Pruning the plant to about a twelve inch height in spring will keep a neat, compact form and will not affect flowering as this plant blooms on new wood. Buddleias tend to break dormancy late in spring, but are fast growers. Be sure to choose a well drained planting site.
