Description

Sugar maples are noted for their outstanding fall color and Fall Fiesta provides just that – a party of color featuring more oranges and reds. Thick, leathery, glossy, deep green leaves of summer have a waxy upper surface which protects from summer heat, wind and drought. The vigorous growth in youth results in a very symmetrical, upright, rounded tree in maturity. Pale yellowish-green flower clusters appear in spring before leaves emerge giving way to paired samaras. This tree is intolerant of road salt.
