Begin With a Fall Color Palette

Even in cooler weather, container plants need consistent care. Check the soil regularly and water when the top layer feels dry. Containers may dry out more quickly on sunny or windy days.
Place plants where they will receive the appropriate amount of sunlight, and remove fading blooms or damaged leaves as needed. As temperatures change, replacing one tired element can refresh the entire arrangement without requiring a complete redesign.
