☐ Prep your beds – Remove debris, refresh soil, and add compost.
☐ Mulch – Apply a 2-3″ layer of mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
☐ Fertilize – Use balanced, slow-release formulas for trees, shrubs, and perennials.
☐ Divide perennials – Fall blooming perennials are best divided in the spring.
☐ Monitor for pests – Early detection = easier treatment.
☐ Start watering routines – Water deeply 1–2 times a week to encourage strong roots.
